BEACHES

Sunny beach:

Sunny beach is the largest resort in this area. Only 20 Mins drive from the airport and 50 mins drive from Mamarchevo. It is crammed with bars, restaurants, hotels and shops. The beach itself is beautiful with soft white sand and clear waters. Very cosmopolitan, you will find here dishes from all over the world, but also huge amounts of traffic and heaving with people.

Pomorie:

Pomorie is quieter than Sunny beach, but has grown hugely in the last few years. First impressions are of another big resort with many hotels, shops etc.

Nessebar:

Old Nessebar is of archaeological interest. Lovely old wooden houses, small churches (most having been turned into art galleries), The main shopping area is busy with tourists, and again many restaurants and shops. If you leave the commercialised part of the town and walk into the heart of Old Nessebar, you will see the charm of this lovely town. No beach but has a small harbour.

Sozopol:

Again, like Nessebar, small and charming. Cobbled streets, harbour and a small beach. Restaurants and shops cater for the tourist.

Along the coastline there are many spots to stop and swim in the black sea, but you may find facilities are not available. Ie:  toilets, cafes
